Iconic designed this extension and comprehensive refurbishment for a private client in close face-to-face collaboration, taking the scheme through planning approval. The original cottage was expanded and updated to accommodate a growing family, with careful spatial planning maximising living areas and natural light throughout.

The finished house runs to 3,900 square feet and sits within Cobham village with distinct cottage character - a deliberate distinction within an area dominated by mock Georgian properties. The family required authentic vernacular expression, which the design delivers through material choice, proportion, and detailing.
