A 14,000 sq ft classical residence designed face to face with the client and remotely whilst they were in Russia, La Selva commands its hilltop site with genuine presence and grandeur. Set to begin construction in Summer 2027, it overlooks Claremont and Blackhills, positioned to make the most of its mature landscape and distinguished setting.

The architecture is rooted in classical proportion and symmetry. White rendered facades, formal details and carefully considered fenestration create a house that feels entirely at home on its exceptional plot, with the landscape as its natural partner.

Beneath this classical envelope lies an ambitious contemporary vision. The basement delivers a complete leisure resort: a 12 metre swimming pool, gymnasium, sauna, steam room, spa facilities, bar and games areas, each carefully planned around the central lightwell. The result is a home where classical grandeur above meets contemporary wellness and entertaining below.

Every detail responds to the site and the clients' vision for how they wanted to live. The house is designed to be both substantial and welcoming, commanding its landscape whilst remaining deeply connected to it.
